We are proud to announce that the Quality Enhancement Cell of Women Medical & Dental College has achieved excellence in quality enhancement (category W) in medical and dental education. Khyber Medical University awarded WM&DC the top position in the province in an event held in Peshawar on Friday, 29th December 2023. The award was received by Principal WMC [Women Medical College], Prof. Dr. Salma Kundi and Prof. Dr. Hameed-Ullah Shah from Women Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (WIRS). This award was only possible due to the tireless collaborative efforts of the QEC cells in WMC, WDC & WIL, and the Department of Medical Education & Research, IT, and HR from WM&DC under the esteemed guidance of Principal WMC, Principal WDC and Dean WIL. The Program Team members represented all the medical & dental departments of WM&DC, without whom this would not have been possible. The QEC of WM&DC was managed by Miss. Rivish Jadoon, who was being supervised by Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Qazi, HOD DMER, in 2022-23. Mr. Wadeed-ul-Janaan was appointed as the assistant manager QEC, WM&DC. Special thanks to all Directors PEPS and Dr. Naveed Iqbal from Comsats University, Abbottabad campus, for their unwavering guidance and support throughout the year. We also appreciate the efforts of the audit teams from different institutions of Abbottabad, including KMU Abbottabad campus, Abbottabad International Medical Institute and Ayub Medical & Dental College.
