The Joys and Colours of WM&DC sports week returned after 2 years of covid break
The Joys and Colours of WM&DC sports week returned after 2 years of covid break with an eye-catching opening ceremony held on 28th July 2022. Each class represented a theme with a walk around campus followed by stalls event, cultural dances and sports events.
A kickoff to sports week in Women Medical & Dental College started with Badminton championship and Tabletennis championship flavoured with rain and a lovely weather with some nail bitting matches amongst the students..
Making their way from Qualifiers to Quarter finals and then the semifinals, the two players Zainab Khan from 3rd Year MBBS and Bakhtmena from 2nd Year MBBS made it to final of badminton after a series of tough competition.
However using their best technique and skills,
Kashmala from 4th Year MBBS and and Sara from 2nd Year MBBS remaining unbeaten throughout, successfully made it to the final of TableTennis.
Both these finals will be played on 29th of July.
