Women Medical College Abbottabad successfully conducted the “Orange the World: End Violence Against Women” seminar on 11 November 2025 at the WIL/WIRS Auditorium.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Madam Azka, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Guest of Honour Madam Komal Yunas, Member of the K.P Commission on the Status of Women.

The seminar, organized in collaboration with Inner Wheel Club of Mushkpuri & Abbottabad, Pakistan Medical Association, and Medical Women Association of Pakistan, featured two key sessions:

1. “From Awareness to Action: Ending domestic violence in our homes and communities” by Anam Jamil & Ayesha Anam

2. “Empower, Educate and End Abuse: A call to action against domestic violence” by Anam Jamil & Ayesha Anam

Addresses were delivered by Madam Komal Yunas, Madam Azka, and Principal (WMC) Prof. Dr. Salma Aslam Kundi.

Principal (WMC) Prof. Dr. Salma Aslam Kundi presented commemorative shields to the chief guests, concluding the collaborative initiative against gender-based violence.
