A successful workshop on Small Group Interactive Teaching was recently conducted at Women Medical College (WMC) by Dr. Maidha Jadoon, Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Education.
The workshop aimed to enhance teaching strategies through the use of learner-centered, interactive methodologies. Dr Maidha Jadoon provided valuable insights into a range of evidence-based approaches, including Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Case-Based Learning (CBL), Team-Based Learning (TBL), and Task-Based Learning.
These strategies are designed to foster critical thinking, active participation, and collaborative learning among students—skills essential for effective medical education. She also shared practical tips on integrating these methods into both classroom and clinical teaching environments.
