Prof. Dr. Salma Aslam Kundi, Principal of Women Medical College Abbottabad, participated in the 9th Biennial Conference of the South Asian Association of Physiologists (SAAP) from December 6 to 8, 2024, at the University of Lahore. The event united physiological societies from Pakistan, India, Nepal,Srilanka and Bangladesh to foster regional collaboration. Principal Prof. Dr. Salma Aslam Kundi presented a research paper on smog and engaged in panel discussions with international experts, including Prof. Dr. Barbara Goodman (President of FAOS) from the USA, Prof. Dr. Robert G. Carroll (President of IUPS) from the USA, and Prof. Dr. Garry Housley from Australia. The conference emphasized interdisciplinary research collaboration, and Principal Prof. Dr. Salma Aslam Kundi was honoured with a shield for conducting over 115 webinars.
