The Breast Cancer Awareness Symposium was successfully held on 16th October 2024 at Women Medical & Dental College, Abbottabad, and Women Institute of Learning and Rehabilitation Sciences, Abbottabad. Faculty members from various departments of Basic and Clinical Sciences delivered insightful lectures and presentations on breast cancer, focusing on prevention, early detection, and treatment.

Students from various disciplines, including MBBS, BDS, D-Pharmacy, Psychology, Nursing, and other Allied Sciences, actively participated in a Poster and Model Competition organized as part of the symposium. Participants showcased their knowledge and creativity through informative posters and models related to breast cancer awareness and prevention.

At the conclusion of the event, position holders from the competition and presenters were awarded shields and certificates in recognition of their outstanding efforts and contributions. The symposium highlighted the significance of collaborative learning and awareness, providing an important platform for students and faculty to contribute to breast cancer awareness efforts.
