Paediatrics DEPARTMENT

The field of medicine that is concerned with the health of infants, children, and adolescents; their growth and development; and their opportunity to achieve full potential as adults.

 

In WMC, the Pediatric department consist of an NICU with facilities for Non-invasive and invasive ventilation and premature care. Other facilities available are exchange transfusion, senior + radio imaging etc.
General Pediatrician provides Pediatrics services as OPD Consultations and admissions. Indoor services include ventilation almost all invasive produces like LP, vent tap, ICT etc. The Department of Pediatrics strives for excellence in the education of Pediatrics with focus on providing students with a comprehensive and diverse experience. Medical students rotate through the Department of Pediatrics to gain firsthand experience in a hospital setting. Our faculty members deliver lectures to students as part of the medical school curriculum and are available to mentor any level of trainee.
