Oral Pathology is the specialty of dentistry and discipline of pathology that deals with the nature, identification, and management of diseases affecting the Oral and Maxillofacial regions (the mouth and jaw areas). It is a science that investigates the causes, processes, and effects of these diseases. The department comprises of well trained and experienced postgraduate faculty. The department of oral pathology acquires various teaching strategies such as lecture on multimedia, practical’s and routine assessment test.
In order to avoid spread of Corona virus, the following SOPs should be strictly adopted by the students (Day Scholars & Boarders)
Physical distancing of students/staff at least 6 feet to be followed as far as feasible.
Use of face covers/masks to be made mandatory.
Practice of frequent hand washing with soap (for at least 40 seconds) even when hands are not visibly dirty. Use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers (for at least 20 seconds)
Respiratory etiquette to be strictly followed. This involves strict practice of covering one’s mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing with a tissue/handkerchief/flexed elbow and disposing off used tissues properly.
Self-monitoring of health by all and reporting any illness at the earliest to the hostel/college administration.
Spitting is strictly prohibited.
The students should strictly observe the seating arrangement as provided by Administration.
NoteAll those students entering college must submit an authentic test report of COVID-19 (PCR). The
students with positive result will not be allowed to enter the hostel or to attend the College facilities.
